EPH preschool provides a developmentally appropriate preschool experience where children are encouraged to make choices and grow in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. The program provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the needs and interests of the children with an emphasis on developing language, literacy and social emotional skills. The interest areas provide children with the opportunity to make choices and learn through play: block area, dramatic play area, language/literacy areas, writing center, science area, math area, gross motor area, and art area. The teaching staff supports the child's play and development through creative and emergent curriculum.

Program Goals

The EPH Preschool provides a quality program to preschool children by offering developmentally appropriate activities and experiences. Children develop self-esteem, social skills, emotional skills, language skills, literacy skills, cognitive skills, motor skills, self-help skills, school readiness skills and other life skills. The program seeks to meet the needs of the children and their families by developing continuity of care between school and home.
