News Room :: Emergency Food Pantry Continues to Serve More Families! Elizabeth Peabody House is pleased to announce that after a year in operation, the food pantry has transformed from a pilot project into a leading source of emergency food in the community. Starting with only 12 families we have grown tremendously to serve hundreds of families from our surrounding community. In the month of September alone we served over 400 children and 300 adults with fresh produce, frozen items, and canned goods. With the addition of our new freezer we hope to serve even more families in the coming months. We are also expanding our partnerships with community leaders and local grocery stores. The EPH Food Pantry is also looking for donations. If you are able to donate nonperishable items and would like to help volunteer in our food pantry, please let us know! We are accepting monetary and canned food donations at 275 Broadway. Please email or call if you have any further questions about donating. We look forward to having a successful holiday season serving !
